The MTP®-12 to 2 x MTP®-4 APC (Female) OS2 cable is a single-mode, 4-channel-to-two 2-channel splitter fiber cable designed for high-performance data center applications. This innovative solution uses 8 active fibers for data transmission and 4 inactive fibers as strength members. The APC endface features an 8-degree polished angle that effectively deflects internal optical back reflections, preventing signal distortion and ensuring superior transmission quality.
Product Overview
This breakout cable enables efficient connectivity between 800G NVIDIA InfiniBand twin-port OSFP transceivers and four 400G NVIDIA InfiniBand OSFP/QSFP112 transceivers in high-speed data center fiber links. When used with 400Gb/s transceivers, only two channels are activated, effectively creating 200Gb/s transceivers. Compared to traditional breakout cassettes, MTP® breakout cables offer superior cost-effectiveness and lower signal loss.
